This is an example of the process story with a timeline (beginning, middle, end). It differs from many portfolio sections which are a collection of best images on a topic.
KUDZU
This is a multi-year project of looking for a better image each time of Kudzu in the deep South. Shot on isolated trips from Alaska.
Circus
This is a small project series taking over several different years when the circus was in Fairbanks. It is only a few hours of shooting each year. This is not enough for a big show, but there are at least a dozen good portfolio images from that approach.
Zoo
I approached “Zoo” with the idea of making a dozen trips to zoos and compiling a finished body of work. So it was conceived to have an end. This is a lot bigger project with at least 40 final images.
